House of Imperials Marches to Victory in "Chant of Champs"
April 24, 2026
The energy was electric at the Foundation Week "Chant of Champs" competition, where school spirit took center stage. In a unique twist, every team was given the exact same two-paragraph chant about being stronger together. The challenge was simple yet demanding: each house had to create their own tunes, add their own gimmicks, and perform a synchronized dance to make the words their own.
House Polaris kicked things off with an energetic performance, catching everyone’s eye with a cool blue and white opaque fan dance. Not to be outdone, House Crimson brought the heat with a "FANtastic" routine, featuring fiery red fans and sparkly red outfits that shined under the lights. House Solaris also wowed the crowd, pairing a powerful vocal chant with a sharp, K-pop girl group inspired dance that kept the momentum high.
However, the true "champs among the champs" turned out to be the House of Imperials. They took the competition to a whole new level by showcasing a full marching band performance. Their routine featured talented little drummer boys, sharp, disciplined flag men, and graceful, high-stepping majorettes. With their grand marching band rendition of "Jai Ho," the House of Imperials stood out not just for their music, but for their incredible precision. From the moment they stepped onto the floor until their final step out, they showed a level of discipline and unity that captured the judges' attention. Their performance perfectly embodied what it means to be stronger together.
